Da Vinci: The Ultimate Innovator / Balboa Park / July Summer at SeaWorld / SeaWorld / May-September Nighttime Zoo / San Diego Zoo / June-September
Leonardo Da Vinci was a famous artist and clever inventor who was way ahead of his time. Now at the Air and Space museum, for a limited time, you can visit this exhibit and come see the amazing creations of Da Vinci. Art displays, machines, robotics, and children's activities such as animations. Visit SeaWorld between May 28 and September 5 and you will be able to have a whole new experience in the park. Even though the sun goes down, the fun continues. Longer park hours, night shows, and fireworks display. The San Diego Zoo is fun, but at night it transforms and provides a whole new experience for visitors. Along with the animals and new atmosphere, there is live entertainment and activities to enjoy during this special event. Extended park hours. Live entertainment such as musical performances. Julian Apple Days Festival / Julian / September Farmer's Market / Pacific Beach / Every Tuesday OB Oktoberfest / Ocean Beach / October 7-8
Julian is famous for its apple products (pies, cider, etc.), and people who love them should visit the Julian Apple Days Festival. In addition to its legendary apple, this event has plenty of fun and entertainment. Family friendly and has children's activities. Fun things like music and dancing. Vendors with Julian's local products made. The Farmer's Market in Pacific Beach is a great event to check out, and not just for doing your grocery shopping. Along with the handmade, fresh, and organic products, there is live entertainment and more. Fresh produce, handmade crafts, and other products for sale. Live music and cooked food provided by local chefs. Every year, Ocean Beach hosts its own version of the famous German funfair and beer festival. Along with the beer and traditional German dishes, there will be live entertainment and transportation. Must be 21 or older for Beer Garden and brew tasting. Live entertainment such as musical performances and free shuttle transportation.




Mixology Class / Hotel Del Coronado / August 25 Poetry Night / Seaport Village / August 17 and September 21 Unleashed by Petco Surf Dog Competition / Imperial Beach / July 30
If you've ever wanted to learn how to mix cocktails, then be sure to attend the Mixology Class at the Hotel Del. This event includes a garden tour where you will gather ingredients and then use them in the creation of your own drink. Must be 21 years of age or over to attend. An alcoholic beverage learning experience. Includes validated self-parking and bonuses like recipes. If you've got a soft spot for poetry, then be sure to head on over to Seaport Village and attend Poetry Night. Along with the discussion, you can even become a part of the whole poet scene. Held in Upstart Crow CoffeeHouse. Open Mic segment where you can share your poetry. Meet local San Diegan poets. Ever wanted to see a dog surfing? If you answered yes, then be sure not to miss out on Unleashed by Petco, the most adorable surfing contest in San Diego. There will also be more to this event than just surfing. Family and pet friendly. You can enter your pet in the surfing competition. Also, other activities such as a dog obstacle courses, kid zones, vendors, and more.
